Narrative Description of Project:

Description of Actual Services Provided by Your Staff:

The consulting services provided by our staff cover the following :

1)       Confirmation of present conditions of Mombasa Port;

2)       Review of existing port master plan;

3)       Discussions on development plans and confirmation of appropriateness of the project, including demand forecast analysis, proposal for the optimum container terminal expansion plan, proposed project implementation schedule, and review of estimated project cost;

4)       Review of operation and maintenance system of Mombasa Port;

5)       Financial analysis of Kenya Port Authority (Executing Agency);

6)       Review of EIA conducted by Kenya Port Authority;

7)       Analysis on financial soundness of the Executing Agency, considering the project; and

8)       Defining consulting services, operational indices, and IRR.
