Narrative Description of Project:

This project is the succeeding stage of Semarang Port Project, Phase II – Stage I, and is aimed at procurement of container handling equipment, electrical equipment, and computer system for use in the container terminal in the port.  The project components include the procurement of :

1)         Container cranes (35.5 tons, 2 units) for Panamax size container ship;

2)         Transfer cranes (35.5 tons, 3 units);

3)         Forklift trucks (2 units), head truck and chassis, and fire fighting truck;

4)         Transformers, emergency generator set; and

5)         Computer hardware with CPU, memory storage and other peripherals for computerized container terminal operation.

Description of Actual Services Provided by Your Staff:

The consulting services provided by our staff cover the following :

1)       Detailed design of the project equipment;

2)       Preparation of bidding documents and cost estimate;

3)       Revision of computer software;

4)       Assistance in bidding and contract procedures;

5)       Supervision of manufacturing, installation and commissioning of project equipment;

6)       Final inspection of equipment before expiry of Defects Liability Period; and

7)       Preparation and submission of required reports and documents.
