Narrative Description of Project:

The project is aimed at construction of Thi Vai International Port comprising two (2) multipurpose berths for 80,000 DWT containership and 50,000 DWT general cargo vessel at Thi Vai area, Phu My Town, Tan Thanh District, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province.  Annual maximum throughput of the port is planned to be 16.5 million tons.

The main project components include :

-        Dredging;

-         Reclamation (about 28 ha), backfilling and foundation improvement works;

-         Container and general cargo wharf (2-berths, 12.6 m and 14 m deep, 600 m long in total) having trestle bridge with wharf accessories;

-         Embankment and corrosion protection;

-         Container and general cargo terminal yard with container yard facilities and internal roads;

-         Terminal buildings with utilities, including administration building, gate, fence, security house, CFS, warehouse, maintenance workshop, customs and immigration office, sub-station of water, electricity, fuel, etc.;

-         Systems of water supply and drainage, electrical supply, sewerage treatment, fire protection, lighting, communication; and

-         Port access road.

Description of Actual Services Provided by Your Staff:

Consulting services provided by our staff cover the following :

1)    Review of detailed designs of the project structures, facilities and equipment prepared by the Contractor; and

2)   Construction supervision of the project facilities, facilities and equipment.
