Narrative Description of Project:

International Transportation Investment & Development Joint Stock Company plans to develop and expand Cua Lo Port in order to be able to receive large ship 30,000 DWT, 50,000 DWT and up to 100,000 DWT in coastal area from Mui Rong to Mui Ga, in Nghe An South-Eastern Economic Zone based on the Decision No. 2190/QD – TTg dated 21 October 2009 of the Prime Minister regarding approval of Master Plan for construction of Nghe An South-Eastern Economic Zone.

Description of Actual Services Provided by Your Staff:

The consulting services provided by our staff cover the following :

1)       Preparation of requirements for additional natural conditions surveys and data collection to be done by the Employer;

2)   Data collection, site visit and evaluation of the adequacy and reliability of the collected data and surveyed results report;

3)       Feasibility Study of the Seaport Area (port and logistics);

4)       Layout Plan for Phase 1 of Port Development for Ships 30,000DWT and 50,000DWT

5)       Carry out wave computer model to estimate offshore wave parameters and near shore wave transformation.

6)       Comparison and recommendation of the best layout for the port development.

7)       Prepare basic design (report and drawings) for follow-up steps, including of breakwaters and anti-sedimentation/ erosion, jetty/quay, access channel, ship waiting area, turning basin, handling equipments.

8)       Estimate construction cost, investment phasing, total cost for investment, and preliminary financial analysis.
